Exaggeration Abilities

Honestly not even astonished but at least highly agitated by our society's exaggeration abilities.

"Pakistan rehnay wali jaga naheen rahi", dude it's your choice if you don't want to live here and believe me I have no objections as to that, but common on don't the rest of us live here. I know things are a bit tough but how could you simply go on saying its not worth living at all?

"Pakistan ka kuch naheen ho sakta", did you try do something for it's betterment? Forget one person, are we as a whole trying to do something? I'm not even blaming you for anything, because believe me I don't think I'm the best citizen either but at least don't blame everyone if you aren't doing anything yourself. Things won't change on their own. I'm not asking you to raise a revolution, but next time you throw something out of your car remember not to blame Pakistan for it's pollution because you me and everyone else doing that is guilty, not the piece of land and the name Pakistan.

"Hamaray judicial system ka koi haal he naheen, judges lawyers sab corrupt hain", I don't disagree that a lot of people out their have seriously forgotten their job is to do justice but honestly who are we to blame an entire system completely if we're not ever honest with ourselves or the people we live with. Okay fine, I believe you maybe but then tell me why are you accusing the entire system for it? Is every single lawyer or judge corrupt, no? Then why are making everyone loose confidence over probably the very few people that are honest. Rather you're actually making them realise their honesty is worthless because they will be criticized under the name of this system, even if they're right. You're making them believe that if they have to be blamed otherwise too, then why not commit a crime and then get blamed.

"Hamaray politicians sab mutlabi hain", I agree with you, maybe most of them are just like what you say. But then who's giving them that chance. If each one of us was such a concerned citizen, it wouldn't so easy for them to manipulate us. They're wrong and they do wrong, but they're not alone in this. The people that work for them, aid them in fulfilling their motives are from amongst us.

"Hamari Army apna kaam toh karti naheen, mulk ka budget khaati aur haqumut peh qubza karna jaanti hai bus", really? Seriously? Did you just blame the entire army for this? Come on, corruption exists in every institution. I'm not saying it should and I'm not using that to justify the one that exists in the army. But take a moment and think about that solider who fights on the border for your safety. Think about that Major who hasn't met his mother since months and is away from his family when you aren't, he's there on duty to protect you. Think about that Colonel who just escaped death right before his eyes when the terrorist tried to blew him up right before he was going to meet his family after two years. Think about that Brigadier who just lost his life in an ambush and who's last thought was — I'm leaving, I'm leaving before I should but I have no regrets because I did this for my nation. Think about them and don't tell me they're paid for this because I know you wouldn't dare to put your life at risk even if you were paid. The courage that they gather to take up the job of ensuring your security can never be paid back. The dictators you talk about, tell me are they individuals or do they represent every single army personnel. You're a supporter of democracy, I have no objections because I too am. But can you blame the entire force for one man. The budgets you speak of. I'm sorry lad if you have no knowledge but dude that man's apartment or plot that your eyeing and blaming him for being corrupt, that man has paid all his life for this from his salary so when he retires his family isn't homeless. He's not as well educated as you are. He'll be jobless or receive minimal pay with the fact that he has no degree, unless he has his own ancestral property to help him start up a business, which isn't likely in most cases. The welfare projects of the army that you blame to be eating up government funds, those projects are designed for both civilians and army officers. It's actually quite astonishing how around the globe, most countries value their army the most, and you get up to blame all these people just for few corrupt ones.

This isn't the case for these institutions alone, it goes for many others too. You who speaks up against racism, tell me what is this? Have you not got the ability to understand that you cannot blame every single engineer, if the bridge next to your house collapsed. Not everyone built it, not everyone is at fault. Learn to identify who is wrong and who isn't. And an honest advice, start from yourself.
