Picking up the ashes,
Of what you'd burnt,
And believing it can undo,
Every way you'd turned,
Chasing me back,
Down the alley you'd left,
Bringing back all to me,
You'd took away through theft,
Wondering you could,
Make all the tables turn,
Resettle back in,
After my heart you churned,
I'm speechless and shocked,
By what you think of me,
That I'm someone you can,
Anytime bully,
And just because you,
Got over what you'd done,
You believe I can move away,
The grief that weighed a tonne,
And let you back in,
Let you risk my heart,
For all that you'd done,
Make a fresh start,
What a pity you think,
That's how the heart works,
That a simple apology,
Can let you forget the jerks,
That you gave me,
Pushed me against the wall,
I can never let you in,
No matter how much you call.

Her Road to Success
Her knees shook as she spoke,
Her skin turned pale,
Restless so much she was,
Each breath was tough to inhale,
Her eyes wide open with fear,
A hint of doubt in them too,
She weighed all that she said,
As mattered each of her view,
Yet she tried to calm herself down,
And speak with confidence,
To make herself seem strong,
That he could surely sense,
Time, sweat, effort and attention,
She'd put in equally all,
And yet something lacked so bad,
That it led to the downfall,
Her hopes died, her trust broke,
In herself that she was up-to any good,
And yet she couldn't express anything,
Silently she just stood,
She walked out to see a queue,
Of many that waited for their turn,
But they too knew in a man's world,
It was pointless to believe they'd earn,
The right to put their abilities to use,
In a group of male chovenists,
It was impossible to expect a place,
Where they'd be accepted could exist,
But she didn't give up on herself,
Rather she worked harder,
And that is why she reached,
Her destination faster,
Where one pushed her down,
Another helped her up,
Not all are too bad to be good,
Was what was stuck,
In her mind and the minute,
She decided to test her luck again,
Without crying over countless rejections,
The endlessly long chain,
She led herself to success,
Just like she wanted,
And today he is below her,
The man who had taunted,
She didn't care to show him,
What she had got,
Her goal was to achieve her dreams,
In revenge not to be caught,
And that's the beauty of success,
If your heart is pure,
You will reach the top,
Despite all the pain to endure.

The Odd Kid
Maturity doesn't come with age and attaining maturity before your age isn't strange. Our society has a perception about people who talk or act more mature than the others at their age. Yes they're odd, they're unusual and you might just find them weird but that doesn't allow you to label them as that. Everyone has reasons why they are so, if you aren't considerate enough to understand them then just don't bother commenting on them. They're as harmless and as you are, don't treat them differently.
Say no to bullying!

White Lies
It's so weird how you think,
I'm dumb enough to believe,
That you'd never thought,
Of ever to leave,
It's so crazy how you think,
I'm childish to believe white lies,
I'm not blind enough to unsee something,
As evident as the colour of the skies,
It's so confusing how you think,
I'm a kid you can troll,
I'm not capable enough to figure out,
All your evil goals,
It's so strange how you think,
I believe you do care,
You're just one of the others,
Your identity is crystal clear,
It's so unrealistic how you think,
I'll still believe you after all I've seen,
To hear your lies once again,
I am no longer keen.

Awaiting Glorification
What's worse than aiding someone,
Is to call it a favour,
To express they'd have no hope,
If you hadn't been their saviour,
To believe in your dominance,
Over the good they shall see,
And to expect being lauded,
They defining your glory,
For what you have done for them,
Expecting in return,
Presenting that all you ever did,
Was for the reward you'd earn,
They might just be considerate enough,
To believe in all this themself,
Your declaration might ruin the respect,
In their heart they must have held.

Friends
When you fall they laugh at you but when the world laughs, they're the first ones to stand by you and not in the crowd of the mockers.
When you stumble they too tease you but when you give up, they're the first ones to help you up again.
When you go through a rollercoaster of emotions they laugh away with you at your attitude but when you fall prey to those feelings, they're the first ones to bring you out of that state.
When you get irritated they fight with you but when others stand up against you, they're the first ones to fight with you and protect you.
If you know someone of this sort, appreciate them for what they do for you, keep them close and never let go off them, because they're the people you need when everyone else walks away.
