Read. Read all of you can and read as much as is possible. Read the lengthiest and biggest books you can find, by some of the greatest thinkers or philosophers of the world. Read their point of view to enlighten yourself. Read their judgements to learn. Read their opinions to develop your own through analysis. Read all you can. Read so that you acquire knowledge, have no bounds to your limit to read. Amongst all the information you receive you might as well learn to read patiently too, because that is our problem my friend. We read less and assume we understand more than possible and know more than our capacity. We can read, we can infer but I'm afraid we do that faster than we should. We don't read as much as is required and we read with minimal concentration levels. That is why we neither know much, nor do we actually understand much of what we know.

Date Night
In a place packed with couples it was odd to spot a girl sitting all alone. Waiving her hand she signed me to take her order. A loose blue T-shirt with a pair of jeans, her hair tied in a low pony and a pair of sneakers to complete her outfit. Not a touch of makeup on her face and not a hint of her attire was closest to anything you'd expect.
"Hi, I'd like to order entree number 32 and for the drink I think a lemonade shall do."
"Ma'am should I serve your food now or wait your date to arrive?"
"Date? I don't have a date. You can bring my food."
The next 20 minutes she ate in peace while I watched her from the corner of my eye. She signed me to bring the bill and asked for a pen and a piece of paper. I handed them to her and went back to take another order. Quickly scribbling something onto the paper and she left it below the cash and the bill. This is what it read as:
'I know you must be wondering why I was alone today and why I wasn't dolled up like all the other girls here. Yes I didn't have a date tonight but then why did I come here? I came here for myself. Love is not all about faking your appearance to attract someone else, love is to be able to be adored for who you are. I came here so I could give myself a treat for being me. You can only find true love if you learn to love yourself and be contended in your own skin. This Valentine's Day try to love yourself, embrace your flaws and your weaknesses. Love yourself for who you are.'
